When We Face Stress and Complexity at Work

Описание к видео When We Face Stress and Complexity at Work

I'm speaking to cognitive narrowing at work in this video, but this psychological trap can affect our lives in so many ways.

When faced with stress and complexity (as we are right now), our tendency is to become rigid, get entrenched in our views and labels , flatten nuance, and oversimplify.

Instead, ask yourself: How can I meet this moment with more compassion and curiosity while staying grounded in my sense of moral clarity? Who is suffering right now? How can I become more informed? How can I respond effectively? When we do this, we elevate our humanity, use our voice wisely, and expand our capacity to to move forward.
