Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoy the video. If you are new here, my channel mostly consists of railroad videography from around the Northeastern USA. About this video: On February 10, 2024, an extra South Side work train crew was called to drop off strands of rail just south of the Four Corners/Geneva station on MBTA’s Fairmount Line (Dorchester branch). The crew took two lite locomotives from the Readville yard (GP40MCs 1125 and 1137) and picked up 4 loaded rail cars in Cambridge, MA (as pictured in the first few clips of this video). After the train was assembled, they operated to the work area and dropped off all of the rails next to the right of way (featured here as well). The empty cars were later returned to Cambridge and the lite locomotives back to Readville. All videos were shot in the area of Boston on the Worcester and Fairmount commuter rail lines on 2/10/2024.
