The festival of "Peetha Seva" continues for a month, starting from the auspicious day of Father's Day until the establishment day of Dashain, known as "Ghatasthapana." During this ritual, women from every musical group, along with their instruments, line up in front of their respective groups to offer lamps to the deities, while the men stand behind and sing songs to the rhythm of the instruments. They then proceed from the back to reach the Harisiddhi Temple.
Furthermore, throughout the entire month, on the final day, known as "Peetha Seva," all the musical groups, by name, come together and have a feast in their respective groups. It is believed that by serving Lord Ganesh, one attains one accomplishment, but by performing "Peetha Seva," one attains eight accomplishments. This emphasizes the significance of "Peetha Seva."
