Monika is the main antagonist of the 2017 visual novel Doki Doki Literature Club!, serving as the overarching antagonist of Act 1, the overarching-turned-final antagonist of Act 2, the main antagonist of Act 3 and the deuteragonist of Act 4. She's also the main protagonist of the side stories in Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!.
She is a character in a dating simulator game, who gains self-awareness and the ability to manipulate the reality of the game itself. Motivated by her jealousy of the other characters for having a more dominant romantic role with the player and by a desire to escape the mental torture she endures within the void when the game is turned off, she manipulates the game's programming in an attempt to romance the player themselves.

Junko Enoshima is the main antagonist of the Danganronpa franchise In the video games, she was titled Ultimate Fashionista and founder of Ultimate Despair. Junko has a hidden talent, known as Ultimate Analyst. She is the younger twin sister of Mukuro Ikusaba and had an alternate identity known as Ryōko Otonashi, which her memories were lost and counts as a different person that was not in any of the games. In both games, she controls and interfaces with the victims of the killing games through Monokuma. Junko is a young woman who took the country by storm with her extravagant tastes and cheerful charisma. Ironically, her popularity as a fashionista was due to an air of being 'not fake'. Junko's personality and mannerisms tend to be very erratic and unstable; she claims that her high level of intelligence makes her bored of even her own personality.
