“Drawing makes things seem more real, and the artist feel more alive” - Join Sefi as she shares with you, her love for all things art, colours, and creativity. Step into the boundless world of nature journaling, as Sefi shows you the magic in the myriad shades of green around you, or the sounds of birdsong in your garden. By exploring drawing and art as a way of seeing nature, Sefi’s talk posits that art can be more than just a hobby, but can act as a pedagogical tool, in fostering love for nature, in a world dealing with the climate crisis Sefi George is an illustrator and artist based in Mumbai. She has an academic background in Sociology and Anthropology, and teaches Ethnography at a design school. ‘Summer Scribbles’ is her homegrown brand, where she creates illustrated products, and conducts art and creativity workshops. She has illustrated multiple books, including 'Living with Leopards' with the Maharashtra forest department, and a calendar on the National Parks of India. She is an avid Nature Journaler and is passionate about human wildlife interaction.
