This video is about two Marantz cd players I got for $20 each because they both don't work. They both display "No Disc" after the disc spins 4 to 6 times. I replaced the whole laser assembly with a new one purchased from Singapore and tried it in both units. The same symptoms still occur. I tried adjusting the (I believe called the trimmer) by turning it both ways little by little and it made no difference. I downloaded the service manual and checked the corresponding resistors with the vaues set in the manual and they all look correct. Any suggestions?
