Peter Case live at Record Surplus, Los Angeles, performing “A Million Miles Away” on June 17, 2016. Veteran singer-songwriter and troubadour Peter Case is a three-time Grammy nominated musician. While a member of The Plimsouls, Peter Case wrote “A Million Miles Away”, a hit on the Billboard charts in 1983. The song was featured in films “Valley Girl” and “Speed”. Earlier, Peter Case was a member of nascent punk era band The Nerves. Today his music style ranges from rock n’roll and power pop to Americana, blues and folk. His latest album, HWY 62, was released in 2015 by Omnivore Recordings.
