Disused Stations of the Chicago Great Western - Chicago to St Charles - Part 1

In this video we launch a new series, retracing the disused stations along the Chicago Great Western's route from Chicago to its hub in Oelwein, Iowa. We start this journey in Forest Park, Illinois, the site of the first station coming out of Chicago - and then visit all of the disused station sites westward to St Charles, Illinois, with this video, Part 1, following the route to Elmhurst, Illinois. We also discuss the CGW's terminal, Grand Central Station, in downtown Chicago, Illinois.

Along the way, we talk about the history of the railway, as well as some of the history of the places that we visit.
