Marvel's Spider-Man - оригинальная видеоигра о человеке-пауке от студии Insomniac Games. Сюжет не основан на комиксах или мультипликационных фильмах. Главный герой Питер Паркер окончил колледж и трудится стажером в лаборатории, в одном из научных учреждений Нью-Йорка. В свободные от работы часы, в качестве Человека-паука, очищает город от преступников всех мастей. Но преступники, которые ""благодаря"" герою находились в тюрьме, организовали там бунт. И сейчас на свободу вырвались: Рино, Скорпион, Электро, Стервятник, Мистер Негатив. Теперь их необходимо в самый короткий срок вернуть за решетку, а то они разнесут город в пух и прах.

Наш персонаж в совершенстве владеет паркуром, различными электронными гаджетами, мастерством крепления паутины к предметам и использует ее как оружие. Поэтому шансы равны и все зависит только от игрока.
