[Story 134] Picking red chilies | Cooking spicy dishes for the cold weather | Filipino Country Life

Last August we planted labuyo chilies up on the hill.
After three months of waiting, it is now ready to harvest. I picked labuyo chilies and made various Filipino spicy dishes. I made chili oil, beef mami, chicken halang halang and palapa. My family and I enjoyed the spiciness of these delectible dishes under my hut. Food is better when it’s spicy!
