Map Sensor, Intake Manifold Hose Connector Problems, Repair These parts are on all Intake manifolds. Just make sure you follow where they go before you pull them off. Then replace with the new hoses
These connectors on these hoses get old and cracked. Make sure to check yours, so you won't break down on the road. That's what happened to me. My car was acting crazy. It would sputter and act like it was going to cut off, then it would be alright for a minute. then it would happen again. The one to the map sensor broke and I would press on the gas and nothing. So sputtering, Idle changes, give it gas it won't go check these first to see if they are old and cracked. I replaced them all three. They are fairly easy to replace. Just replace one at a time and make sure you know where these hoses go before you take them off. Good luck everyone!
