This was our first Thames walk in almost 11 months, due to Joy sustaining a back injury.

We were delighted to return, this time following the river as it led us through lush meadows and secluded countryside. The weather was perfect, the wildlife and summer flowers abundant.

Our journey concluded at the Ferryman Inn on the banks of the river, before a taxi and two buses delivered us home.
