With this 3rd Paganini Caprice, we've really taken a dive down the rabbit hole! For those who are able to overcome all challenges within the 1st and 2nd Paganini Caprices...this 3rd Caprice represents "the hump", and it is where most violinists stop. Even when played "masterfully", this caprice doesn't sound all that impressive. Yet the technique, precision, strength, coordination, synchronization, and work behind...is truly 2nd to none.
