CX500 Build - FULL ENGINE TEARDOW! - EP35

Teardown time! The GL650 engine goes down to the bare block for inspection, cleaning, and refinishing in this video. Since this engine has an unknown history I wanted to go through it in case there were any potential issues that may have been hiding that we couldn't see from the outside. This GL650 turned out to be in great shape with minimal wear making it a great engine to re-hone and seal. Look for more updates on this engine in the next video as we clean, measure, and work to get it looking better than new for reassembly and then installation back on the bike!
