Rissois also known as Rissois De Camarao or Prawn Rissoles is a breaded pastry shaped like a half-moon usually stuffed with shrimp or meat and deep-fried.

Rissois is one of the most popular appetizers in Goa, prepared for birthdays, weddings, and for almost any party!

In my recipe today I have used a prawn stuffing that is full of flavour and can be prepared in minutes.

Ingredients:
For the Stuffing
Prawns - 1 cup (cleaned)
Salt - a pinch
Water - a few drops
Onions - 2 finely chopped
Tomatoes - 1 finely chopped
Milk - 1/4th cup
Salt - to taste
Lime juice - 2 tsp

For the Pastry dough
Milk - 1 cup
Vanaspati Ghee - 1 tbsp
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Salt - 1/4th tsp
All Purpose flour/ Maida - 2 cups

Coating
Egg - 2 nos ( beaten with a pinch of salt)
Semolina/ Rawa - 3/4th Cup
Breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup

Oil for frying
