Bolero Dr 2nd Alarm House Fire

On Wednesday April 3rd East Brandywine Fire Company and numerous other area departments were dispatched to a residence on Bolero Dr for a house fire. Initial reports indicated fire from the front of a house. Police arrived with heavy smoke showing, shortly after Deputy 49 arrived with fire showing from the front of the house and quickly struck a 2nd alarm. Take a look at the video and ride along with our crew from Engine 49-2 and watch how they arrive and drop a supply line into the scene while the officer on the truck goes up to the scene to access the situation and check in with the Deputy. The officer then returns to the Engine to deploy the front bumper handline and start to make an aggressive attack on the fire. This is just a glimpse of what our volunteer firefighters go through when responding to a house fire.
