Kennedy refused three separate times to say he supports Noem, called her $220 million in government ad contracts "spending porn," pointed out that one of the companies receiving the money had no website, no headquarters, and was formed just 11 days before getting the contract, and said he is "tired of trying to explain behavior that is inexplicable." When pressed on whether he would vote to confirm her again, Kennedy shut it down completely: "You can try a thousand times, mate. Lots of luck to you." This is what a Republican senator looks like when he has run out of ways to defend his own party's Cabinet secretary.
