In this lecture, I continue my discussion of the Axioms of Newton's "Opticks." I focus on Axioms 3, 4, and 5, in which Newton explains what happens to a ray of light that is traveling from one medium (such as air) into another (such as glass). In particular, he states what has come to be known as Snell's law of refraction.
