The French and Indian War, the North American conflict during the global Seven Years' War, was fought between France, Britain and their respective colonies from 1754 until 1763.

The British conqurered swathes of land from military victories in 1759. The following year, 1760, was New France's last ditch attempt to save Quebec and Montreal.
