'Dharana - The 6th Anga' by Sri M

Описание к видео 'Dharana - The 6th Anga' by Sri M

Sri M speaks about the 6th Anga in Ashtanga Yoga which is Dharana.

Sri M - "In the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the first sentence of the Vibhuti Pada section is:
'desa bandas cittasya dharana'
According to the Yoga Sutras, in the section called Vibhuti Pada, the definition of Dharana is the capacity to hold your mind together, instead of being scattered and distracted.
Vibhuti actually means when the mind expands to a higher level of consciousness. Therefore it is very apt that the first sentence in the Vibhuti Pada section of the yoga sutras is about the expansion of the mind and the first step to that expansion is 'Dharana'....."

This online session took place on 4th June, 2020 in Madanapalle.
