Here same examples of Brazilian Fepasa models in true HO scale. Two groups of locomotives, diesel and electrics. These locomotives are painted in paint schemes of railroad commonly seen in the late 1980's and decade of 1990's until the demise of this railroad.
The two electric locomotives are "Russa" a 2-D-D-2 type that were initially ordered by the Soviet Union to GE in US in 1946. By the time when they were finished, US imposed embargos of exporting strategic material to USSR. So, these locomotives languished with GE without a buyer. GE sales team target potential railroads that would need or had to renew their electric locomotives.

GE offered these locomotives to Milwaukee Road, however initially, they didn't show real interest because of issues of adaptation to its electrified lines. Milwaukee counter offered at basically price of scrap value.

Meanwhile, Companhia Paulista of Brazil showed interested in these locomotives. So, it bought 5 units. Therefore, these locomotives were first bought by this Brazilian railroad. Companhia Paulista was the forebear of Fepasa.

South Shore railroad a branch like railroad in size, bought 3 locomotives to use to move its freight traffic.

Meanwhile, because of Korean War developments, the Milwaukee Road saw itself short of electric power. So, it made an offer to by the remaining 12 units with no spares. At end Milwaukee wanted more of this locomotive model, so was Companhia Paulista, but GE had already drop it from its "catalog" offer.

About Models:
The "Russa" 2-D-D-2, Little Joe, is a kitbash of NWSL Little Joe body with OMI chassis from 1986 run. It recently received Loksound 5 custom soundfile and LED lighting. I saw "Russas" in Brazil in 1990's, so, I have a good reference of how they sounded.

The "V8" were built in two groups of locomotives in 1940 and 1946-48. These were the most numerous electric locomotives at Companhia Paulista and they were primarily meant for passenger trains. CP had 22 of them.
The model is made by Frateschi in Brazil. so, it is the only RTR model. However,. I upgraded its panthographs by Sommerfeld ones and added extra detailig. It has a Loksound 3.5 decoder.

The G12 with B-B trucks is the equivalent of GP 9 as EMD export road switcher. It was once the most numerous diesel locomotive in Brazil and in many other coutries around the world.

This model I bought as resin kit in a hobby store in brazil. It received a Roco/Walthers retrofitted chassis, Tsunami 2 decoder and LED lighting.

The GE U20c was the predominant diesel locomotive in Brazil in the 1970's to 1990's.

This model was built from a resin kit that I got the same hobby store in Brazil. the body is built on Atlas/Kato modified chassis. It has Loksound Select decoder and LED lighting.

All locomotives models with exception of Frateschi's V8 were detailed, painted and decaled by me.
