Tech Demos Nimaginendo - Arm Wrestling NES, Mario & Yoshi 3D Adventure, Contra, Mario vs. Wario...

Описание к видео Tech Demos Nimaginendo - Arm Wrestling NES, Mario & Yoshi 3D Adventure, Contra, Mario vs. Wario...

As a thank you to the 3.33 thousand subscribers, I bring this sample of tech demos without continuation.

These are concepts that I am completely stuck with and have no ideas to continue. Another has bugs that I can't resolve.

* Arm Wrestling in NES style - I made a remake of the arcade game for the NES style but it's completely poorly done. I made it thinking about posting "what it would be like" videos to the channel, but the programming of this game is very detailed so I had problems positioning Little Mac's arm as all the movements are a separate sprite.

* Mario & Yoshi 3D Adventures - A game inspired by a Penguin game that Konami made for the MSX. His problem is that the entire scene is a moving sprite, along with another sprite to zoom in on the monster. Every large animation is a sprite that is inserted.

* Contra Test - A Contra game I made that is really cool but a little complicated in figuring out the directions in which he shoots. I made it using the source "Hello Engine 4" (A Mario engine transformed into another game. It's the same one that would later be used for Super Mario Advance 5, my Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario Proto Remix and Super Mario Wonderland). This Contra ran out of ideas too and I don't know what to do to move forward with more things so it only serves as a technical demo that I will use so that someday I want to make a shooting game.

* Super Mario Fury World - This game uses a demo that GBFan45 showed me to help with a fan game with him, Donkey Kong Land Special, and Donkey Kong Land Battle Rematch which I don't remember if I saved on my drive but it was another project I worked on together at the time when I was only involved in 2 projects (Donkey Kong Land Special and Kiddy Kong's Showtime). I used the source to make this game that still contains Mario sprites from NES and I also used it to make the Donkey Kong Country Banana Battle Arena animation and the old Kiddy Kong's Showtime engine. I just did it to test the sprites.

* Konami's Mario vs. Wario - Another animation project that I stopped due to lack of creativity. It would be another one of the "what would it be like" videos. "What would it be like if Konami had made their version of Super Mario Land 2?" the game is "complete" just missing the pre-final room, final boss and ending. The problem is the source has the same standards as Hello Engine 4, which is why Mario moves very fast. These moves I modified in my other projects so it looks more like a normal Mario game. And now comes the question that I imagine you will ask. "Why does it feel so much more like an NES game than your other projects?" because fade ins and fade outs are sprites
The screen dimming was all done with screen-sized sprites and screenshots. So as simple as it may seem, it took a lot of work to edit and uses more memory. The game would be a new look for Tiny Toon Adventures 2, if it didn't feature Warner's characters and instead was a licensed Mario game. The only thing I've done recently was the custom music.
Fun Fact: I used the Hello Engine 4 source "Contra Test" to do it.

* Magical Super Mario - This is where SteelBill Koopa came from. It just wasn't red, but the shell was blue. He would also be a mini boss that would hinder Mario on his journey. Idea resurrected in Super Mario Wonderland. It's also a "what would it be like" game where I would show a Konami-style Mario game on the SNES. This would be the first project I would show from this video saga. But it didn't go forward. NimagKonami/Ninami XD

* Super Mario Bros. 4 - I was inspired by a GBFan45 project, but my version was based much more on the Super Mario World beta and the gigaleak elements. It uses the same Hello Engine 4 source but now modified. I used my SMB3, copied and changed some sprites and things. The screen closing on the map is also a giant sprite also closing in 8x8 made manually by me.

I would show more, but my video recorder only allows 10 minutes so that's it. Thank you for the subscribers, likes, dislikes and comments. I'm also very happy to see that you are playing the demos I make available and that you like my work. And this is my way of saying thank you. Who knows, maybe these sketches could become reality for other people who come to see the video? To the next!
