Hello friends, followers and mechagnome enjoyers! After a period of being away from the game due to real life, finally I am back and the return is combined with a Mythic Fyrakk video! I don't know if the feeling is mutual, but I definitely missed you guys and I also missed editing and uploading these videos with my minor artistic touch to them! This is our second Fyrakk kill, but I am quite proud of my performance in this one so I thought it would be more valuable learning experience for you to watch.

This fight is crazy and really fun for healers but when I came back after my hiatus, I didn't expect I would ever get to experience it. In general, I didn't have many expectations regarding clearing this raiding tier knowing that it is nearing an end and it would be hard finding a group. Thankfully, a kind soul, Molyna, believed in me and took me on-board "Inifnite" from Tarren Mill while they were progressing Fyrakk! I am extremely grateful for this, otherwise this video and the memories with the boys would never have happened! I want to thank my team for bearing with me during my learning of the fight, for their patience and for the great laughs throughout the progress of this fight, even during the days when our progress stagnated and everything was going south. We are Infinite!

I came back and found Mistweaver being played in a very weird way compared to the last time I touched it in season 1. Tear of Morning, reworked Mana Tea, Clouded Focus and ranged playstyle are certainly not my favourite things, but, for once, I decided to not be grumpy and treat this playstyle as a new challenge, a new peak to climb! It took me quite some time to get used to it as well as to the new tier set. I have come to realize that there are a handful of minute things you need to learn if you want to min-max this new style. I am still in the learning process but slowly getting there!

In this kill, I had an excellent phase 1 and phase 2 performances, perhaps the top one for logs after the more recent nerfs of Fyrakk in February, But I failed so hard in phase 3 due to mismanaging my mana and Mana Tea in earlier phases, particularly p1. That made me panic quite a bit and, as a result, I ruined such a great parse, otherwise this could have easily ended as a top 10 log! But you see, in the past you didn't have to worry about Mana Tea stacks... That whole concept is new to me! In addition, my positioning in p3 wasn't great after the first seed, and I also did not take good advantage of Chi Harmony in this last phase by using our typical ReM - Soothing Mist - EnvM - Vivify spam combo on specific targets.

In p1 you should definitely use your mana pot earlier than I did so that you can have the second usage right before p3 starts. In this kill, I used the Coagulated Blood trinket + Seedling trinkets but the Amalgam trinket is also a good option while learning the fight, if you are willing of course to sacrifice a little bit of performance. In hindsight, if you run out of mana like I did towards the end, that's an even greater sacrifice of performance, but here it's definitely more about Mana Tea mismanagement in p1 than a need to use Amalgam trinket when you have 9min kills. Some people have swapped to Undead for this fight for the cannibalize racial, but as you all know, cool boys play Mechagnomes and never swap! :-)

At that time, I was also 2-3 ilevels behind everyone else, so there is a 2-4% HPS loss due to that. But presently I have started catching up gear-wise. I have gone super crazy on stacking Crit for fun purposes and I believe I may have ended up with one of the highest values than any other monk currently. Also, I have been quite conflicted about Haste vs Versa, because both have their uses and moments that they shine, but I opted for Haste. The reason for that is that I value more the quicker GCD for reacting faster to priority heal, as well as the fact that it is a bit better for our current healer roster and the way my cohealers heal. I tried Versa in some of our pulls and it was a disaster, so I quickly switched back to haste! But if you have less competition in the meters and an Hpally instead of Pre-voker, then Versa is really good!

Anyway, that's it for now, you can look forward to more kill videos when I record something worthwhile, and very likely season 4 action too!

Until next time fellas! Take care and keep pumping hard!
