Architecture and Fashion: Julian Hakes at TEDxYouth@Manchester 2014 January

Julian Hakes is an award winning Bridge Architect who has applied his architectural skills to the design of high fashion women's shoes, winning the Vogue Accessory Design Award in 2013. He has also announced collaborations with Marvel/Disney that will see his designs feature on the big screen in 2014.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
