Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards - Shiver Star : Stage 4

Now we move onto probably the most out of place stage in the entire game... but it is a very fun stage! The factory stage has rather dire sounding music, a dark, strange atmosphere, and basically everything else you would not expect to see out of a Kirby game. Except for the bright colours... they are still plenty abundant. XD This stage is probably the most difficult one in the game... which is not saying all that much, but still! It is probably my favourite stage in the game, too, both because of it just being fun to play through, and it having plenty of variety.

The shards are another story entirely, though... Two of them require specific powers to obtain, which can make things rather annoying, but other than the first one near the beginning requiring Rock Needle, the other combination, Spark Cutter, can be gathered throughout the actual stage. This way, you can get all the shards in one go if you know what to use. Yes, this means I finally use the Spark Cutter power that multiple people have been overly insistent at me to try aaaand... it is okay. It is one of the better powers, but I find Rock Needle and Bomb Cutter out-class it badly as they give a long-range attack without gimping your mobility like Spark Cutter does. That... and the blades are yellow! I do not like yellow! Yes, I can be petty if I want to be! =P
