Previous research has demonstrated that children with unilateral hearing loss (UHL) experience deficits compared to their normal hearing peers. Our study evaluated 20 children who received a cochlear implant for UHL. After two years of data collection, we show that children with UHL significantly benefit from cochlear implantation.
