Minoh Falls (Live) | Digitakt, Octatrack, Model:Cycles, MicroFreak, Reface CP

The live version of my track 'Minoh Falls'. I have the Octatrack acting as a master clock, midi sequencer & live effects/mixer in this set-up. Drum sounds are programmed on the trusty Digitakt as well as the main lead sound, which is made using a looping single-cycle waveform that is re-pitched & modulated with p.locks. The Model:Cycles is providing the FM bass in this track, which I am running through some extra overdrive for a bit of crunch. The mellow chords are coming from the Yamaha Reface CP. Lastly I have the Korg Prologue (at the edge of the picture) adding some additional melodic sounds in the second half.

I'm having fun writing tracks with the idea of being able to perform them live, it's not always possible to recreate exactly the sounds that I have recorded in a different session but I think the live versions really breathe some extra life into the tracks.
