You can train to recapture lost movement if your model of training is sufficiently evolved. You may be able to avoid unnecessary stretching exercises or rehab exercises for shoulder pain, hip pain, or back pain. Oftentimes, we can simply add a few activities or modify some of your current exercises to support improvements in joint range of motion and movement.

Stretching to improve squat depth rarely helps. Rotator cuff strengthening exercises for shoulder pain associated with bench pressing is rarely the answer.

Here we used a front foot elevated split squat to increase hip flexion range of motion and suitcase carries to improve shoulder internal rotation range of motion.
