As far as I can tell, Lucky and I are the first to study this since 1971. This is our first video on the subject. He was a bit unpredictable and uncooperative because, you know, he's a cat, so we didn't crack the code this time. I'm hoping to figure out how to teach this concept to him, because I've noticed that the lack of object permanence does cause him a few functional impairments around the house.

If you are a graduate student, I would definitely suggest you dive in because this seems like a huge void in the scholarly literature that I'm shocked nobody has spent more time on.
