So during the Friday morning of July 2 2021, I set out yet again for another OBRY outing.

I’d say I got a little lucky today I think as I was actually able to capture them working BOTH of the last 2 Brampton Industries who still receive rail service from CP directly off the OBRY short line (Vulsey Industries and Armacell Canada, both in Northern Brampton) as 333 made its way down south and I’d say I also got a couple pretty decent shots of the OBRY going over the Downtown Brampton OWLS (One Way Low Speed) double diamond in both directions.
*Diamond is probably soon to be renamed from ‘One Way Low Speed’ to a ‘One Way High Speed’ Diamond since the Owen Sub is said to fall completely dark by years-end and once the Owen Sub goes dark, all CNs gotta do is simply remove the OBRY flanges and from there Halton Sub Trains will only but be able to go MUCH FASTER through the diamond, just like how CP did here at the BCRY diamond after BCRY stopped running to Collingwood:    • CP 8617 at Utopia Diamond (15OCT2016)  

Hoped to chase the NB 5 car train all the way back to Orangeville but ended up losing them sadly because of them darn road closures near Snelgrove (by Mayfeild rd)….

-Ah we’ll hope to get another opportunity soon before this line turns into a walking trail which seems like it’ll be the case within the next few years since currently all OBRY operations are said to cease entirely by Dec 31 2021 and the Orangeville Township really likes the trail idea…
