World's First Granular Filter - Klavis Grainity

We all know the sound of granular synths, but what's a granular filter? When Klavis sent me Grainity, I first thought that it would filter out certain frequencies and maybe let some grains through outside the filter, but doesn't seem to be the case. The main multimode filter obviously filters out frequencies, but the granular side of the filter ADDS content in the filtered range. It's easier to show than to explain so take a look.
