Mitsubishi MRL Elevators - Kirkegata 15, Oslo, NO

Описание к видео Mitsubishi MRL Elevators - Kirkegata 15, Oslo, NO

Time for something a bit different on my latest Norwegian hunt, and you've guess it, a Mitsubishi! Norway's capital city Oslo has loads of Mitsubishi elevators scattered around the city, and these are just one of them. Most are found in low rise office buildings, while a handful are also found in public buildings such as the famous Byporten Mall and Gunerius, both are shopping centers located in downtown. These elevators are in an office building where the front door is secured; thankfully I was able to get in after following someone in. This is one of the nine Mitsubishi elevators I've managed to film in Oslo.

According to Uniheis's reference list on their website, these elevators were installed in 2017 replacing the previous Mitsubishi SPVF units from 1991. They are very similar to our NEXIEZ-MRLs back at home and other parts of Southeast Asia apart from a few differences to suit with the European situation, such as EN 81-70 compliant COP (which is easily identified by the alarm/interphone indicator below the floor indicator), triangle door keyholes (instead of the default T-shape holes), directional chimes and button beep. Also comes with floor cancel feature as well as a full Norwegian AAN-G voice announcement.

Sadly the left elevator had a bit of issue with its doors as it would repeatedly reopen its doors to the point that it triggered a nudge mode. Even after that, the door somehow still refused to lock like what happened on the basement. Kind of annoying, and this rarely happens on Mitsubishi. At least I've managed to capture the Norwegian voice for nudge mode.

A little bit info about Mitsubishi in Norway. Mitsubishi elevators in Norway are imported and distributed by Uniheis since 1986, making Norway as the first country in mainland Europe to install Mitsubishi elevators. For some reason, their installations so far are only concentrated in Oslo and have not yet been installed elsewhere in Norway. In April 2023, Uniheis was acquired by Swedish company Motum AB, who is now part of Mitsubishi Electric since 2022.
