Roman and his second operator, Mykhailo Feshchak, embarked on a mission to capture the spirit of Hawaii, and they knew exactly where to go: the rugged, scenic roads of the Pahoa area on the Big Island. With its windswept palms, glimpses of the sparkling ocean, blackened volcanic roads, and a tapestry of lush tropical plants, Pahoa seemed to embody the very essence of Hawaii. Determined to capture it all, Roman rented a sturdy Jeep Wrangler, perfect for navigating every twist and turn, and equipped it with several GoPro 11 cameras strategically mounted around the exterior. This setup allowed him to film the vibrant island scenery from every angle, even while driving.

But Roman didn’t stop there. He launched a DJI Mavic drone to capture sweeping aerial shots, unveiling the stunning landscape from above—from the lush valleys to the volcanic ridges. Meanwhile, Mykhailo was busy documenting the entire filmmaking adventure with his Panasonic DC-GH5 Mark II, capturing candid shots of Roman in action as he maneuvered the Wrangler, adjusted cameras, and piloted the drone. The duo worked seamlessly, navigating rain showers and sunny spells, all to bring viewers the most authentic and breathtaking Hawaiian scenes. By the end, they had not only a collection of stunning footage but also a vivid behind-the-scenes story showcasing the artistry, determination, and love for the craft that went into capturing Hawaii's true beauty.
