Stihl 400 R c-m, DYNO RUN (3 Foot Bar) Stock vs. Psy-Ko

Filmed in May, 2022.
This 400 projecting has been an interesting one. As mentioned, I came at it incrementally. Or, baby steps if you will. Multiple saws & topend assemblies later we see the Psy-Ko S version running against a bone stocker with a LONG bar on a big, fairly hard cut.
The cut gained a little bit of diameter as we are headed to the stump going further back. The zipped 400 also had the start of a knot to deal with also.
The chain has one sharpening. The teeth area as long & wide as they will ever be. Another reason that this test session is considered a dyno run.
The engine -
50mm bore x a 34mm stroke which nets 66.76cc.
Stage 2 smog saw - stratified with raw air.
Factory rated at 5.4hp.
Looking at the timed runs -
Stock 400 at 13,680 rpms wot went 40.50 down and 44.12 up.
Psy-ko S 400 at 14,040 rpms wot went 31.78 down and 36.51 up.
The chatter in the chain is almost non existent in the zipped saw as it has enough power to pull through it. the chain chatter is easily heard in the stock saw.
I was super well pleased at this point in the saw testing for the motor saw (ms) 400.
At the time of your viewing this, I may, or may not, be immediately available for custom saw modifications. I am booked out several months regularly. If you are interested in having a saw zipped, please shoot me an email. That is the best, first point of contact.
