The Best (and the rest) of 2024

2024 has come to a close, and with it I bring to you a brief overview of the best and most notable things I watched, listened to, or read this year, new and otherwise.

I recorded this video on next to no sleep and was on hour 14 of being up, not and ideal scenario for a video but it is fitting for the way this year felt, for better and for worse.

Not mentioned in this video:
Hamilton: Took me a little bit to warm up to this show, but once I did I haven't looked back.
Poor Things: I watched this very early in the year. Unhinged, perplexing, and a damn solid movie.
I rewatched HBO's Barry in its entirety. A video on season 4 is a sure thing from me one day.
I heard a few songs off of Geordie Greep's album from this year, I wish i had listened to it in full because the songs I heard were very impressive.
Chappell Roan is another artist I've loved every song I've heard but never got around to the full album.
As of writing this (1/2/25) I still have not seen Nosferatu or A Complete Unknown.

Chromakopia is growing on me.
