Traceless Facelift | Before and After | Dr. David Stoker

Dr. David Stoker, board-certified plastic surgeon in Los Angeles. I'd love to tell you about one of my favorite results from my signature facelift procedure: the "Traceless Facelift". We have here a beautiful, 67-year-old woman who was unhappy with the way she was experiencing aging. She had very significant platysmal bands in the neck. She was getting hollowing under the eyes from changes in the skin. She had a significant amount of jowling, and the skin on her brow and cheeks had changed quite a bit as well. What I proposed for her was doing a "Traceless Facelift", as well as fractional carbon dioxide laser resurfacing. It made an enormous difference for her in this case. You can see that the neck is radically improved. We tightened the platysmal bands using our signature platysmaplasty approach with the muscles here underneath the neck. Fractional laser resurfacing treated very effectively the skin around the eyes to get a really rejuvenated appearance. The jowls are all lifted. And if you check out the incisions in the oblique and side views, you can see it is very difficult to see any incisions at all.

There are other things that you can see in this case that add to the impact. In her lateral brow in this area here, you see folds of skin in a lower position. By using a laser in our "Traceless Facelift" approach, we're able to raise that brow there. And notice how there's much more light getting into her eyes there. They really sparkle. It makes a huge impact for her and adds to the overall beautiful improvement. The nasal labial folds are also dramatically enhanced. So, whether it's the brow, the eyelids, the forehead skin, that cheeks, the neck and the platysmaplasty and jowls, there's a whole lot involved in planning out pan-facial rejuvenation to get a "Traceless Facelift" result. But, in this case, as in many others, we achieved that and more. It's a beautiful result I'm very proud of. And I know she's happy too.
