Chordplay - The Chords Of The Police

Описание к видео Chordplay - The Chords Of The Police

Hey everyone! Here's the next episode of Chordplay with The Chords Of The Police. It was about three years ago when I created 'The Chords Of Andy Summers' episode of Chordplay - which was shared by the official Andy Summers FB page last year - and since that time I've had a lot of requests to feature more of Andy's music and the music of The Police, so let's dive in!

This second installment centering on The Police's music revolves around the distinct reggae sound/influence heard in their music - especially during the early years. If you'd like to dive a little deeper into reggae guitar and this popular musical style, be sure to watch the 'Reggae Guitar Chords' episode on the LNL channel from a few years ago.

The chord-based song examples in this episode include hits such as 'Can't Stand Losing You,' 'So Lonely,' 'Man In A Suitcase,' 'The Bed's Too Big Without You,' 'Spirits In The Material World,' 'Roxanne,' and a look at the bridge section of 'Walking On The Moon,' which follows the intro/verse section that was featured in 'The Chords Of Andy Summers' episode from a few years ago.

Needless to say, if you're a fan of The Police, 1980s music, reggae music, or just a player searching for some new twists/turns using triads, partial chords, implied chords, and chord fragments - this lesson is totally for you!
Give this episode a view, leave some comments/feedback, and please subscribe to Late Night Lessons - THANK YOU!
