Shortly before Goff passed away in 2011 he contacted Aaron Harvey, MD of St. Austell Band, and requested that on their next visit to the famous Uppermill contest venue (where Goff had been the adjudicator for many years) if they would play the William Moyles march 'Cornish Cavalier'.

The St Austell Band were very close to Goff and were very pleased to perform a short tribute concert in memory of Goff. The short programme also included "Munion" the middle movement of Goff's "A Cornish Festival", see it here at    • St. Austell tribute to Goff Richards ...
