Geology professor Shawn Willsey explains the geology exposed at Shoshone Falls in the Snake River canyon near the city of Twin Falls in southern Idaho. Investigate the volcanic rocks (some tied to the Yellowstone hot spot) and fascinating geologic story exposed in the walls of the canyon. This is the second of a two-part video on the area. The first video provides an overview of the Snake River, Shoshone Falls, and the rocks that make up the canyon's walls.
