OVIEDO, SPAIN

2018 Sep 14 Day 14 - This video shows our day trip to Oviedo, the capital city of the Principality of Asturias in northern Spain, from Leon. The travel took us about 1.5 hours with traffic. Oviedo is a very charming, vibrant and colorful city. As we wandered around the old town through its maze of lovely streets, we were totally flabbergasted by its rich architectural history, with many buildings dating back to the early medieval period. The San Salvador church is a beauty inside and out. The plazas, esp Plaza Mayor, provide awe-moments for people watching and cold beer. Next stop in our journey - wrapping up Leon ...
