EPIC Bluebird Powder Snowboarding at Crystal Mountain WA!

Описание к видео EPIC Bluebird Powder Snowboarding at Crystal Mountain WA!

Today was definitely one for the books. Plenty of people called in sick to go snowboarding and skiing in over a foot of untouched powder at Crystal Mountain WA. And I was one of them.

I started my day early and hopped on the gondola first thing. I brought my 143 capita spring break which is an absolute powder slayer. My first stop was a top to bottom on Exterminator. As you may have noticed there was plenty of snow on the camera from all the white rooming. That run had plenty of good turns left so I couldn't but get another 2000'+ run.

My next move was crucial because people were starting to track out the main runs so I decided on a short hike from the top of Green Valley Chair to the top of the Snorting Elk Bowls. This proved to be worth it. i was able to ride the chute twice with nearly untouched snow the whole run. I hit the drop twice which felt good too. Next i decided to hike to Northway and hit Brand X. There were a few people gathered at the top but barely any tracks down it. The top half was money but the lower section was starting to get tracked out. So i decided to pivot and check out left and Right angle trees. It was so good I did a too to bottom twice in a row.

Hours of snowboarding had passed but Southback was still not open. I decided to make my way over to Forest Queen to chill at the lodge until south back opened. However, when I peaked at chair 6 and saw how many good runs were left I had to do a short hike and rip it. Campbell Basin had plenty left but my legs were tired so I sat down for a beer and some fries.

I had been going non stop for 4 hours until this short break and then noticed south back was opening. So I rode chair 6 again and started my first hike to the king. It was so good that I went back and charged another. I thought I would have a fun run back to the truck and call it a day, but then I saw boondoggle. The snow was too good so I rode to quicksilver and lapped boondoggle 3 times. I ended with a mellow mini park run which was the perfect cap on what I would say was an all time day.

SUBSCRIBE to catch the next one, cheers.
