Trains of Chicago - September 9 1992

In September of 1992, the Santa Fe, ran a trip with restored 4-8-4 #3751 from the West Coast to Chicago. We took a day trip on Wednesday the 9th to catch it arriving at Santa Fe's Corwith yard.

A light rain early in the day became steadily worse, ending up with storms around Chicago all day, and eventual flood warnings, however we did catch some memorable scenes.

9. ATSF train 199 westbound between Pulaski & Cicero Ave.
