Fish sauce is a staple for Vietnamese families. We love to dip everything into it. Try this recipe because I think you'll like it. Vietnamese Fish Sauce
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 cup fish sauce
3 cups of water
1 1/2 cup of Thai chilies
5 limes
2 bulbs of garlic

1. Pour water and sugar into a pot and heat it up on high.
2. Once the sugar has dissolved, pour the fish sauce into the pot and turn it off.
3. Let the pot cool down about 1 hour.
4. Peel the skin off the garlic and cut it into smaller pieces.
5. Get your Thai chilies, cut off the stem and chop it into smaller pieces for fast chopping.
6. In a chopper, add the garlic, chilies, and about 1 TB of water. Chop the chilies and garlic.
7. Cut the limes and squeeze out the juice into a bowl.
8. After the pot has completely cooled down, pour in the chilies and lime juice. Stir the delicious fish sauce mixture about 2-3 times.
9. Taste the fish sauce and adjust to your liking. If you want it spicier, add more chilies.
10. Enjoy your fish sauce!
