Apple crumble recipe

What you’ll need

2 med-large bowls (1 for filling, 1 for crumble)
Large spoon for mixing ingredients

Filling:
4 green apples, diced
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup gluten-free buckwheat flour
1/4 cup maple syrup


Crumble:
3/4 cup coconut sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup gluten-free all purpose flour
1 cup gluten-free quick oats
6 tbsp melted coconut oil



Instructions
In your crumble bowl, combine the coconut sugar, cinnamon, gluten-free flour, gluten-free quick oats and melted coconut oil.
In your filling bowl, combine your diced green apples, coconut sugar, cinnamon, gluten-free flour and maple syrup.
Grease a 9-inch baking dish with coconut oil and pour the filling in.
Evenly pour the crumble over the top of the apple filling. Lightly tamp down and level out the crumble until it covers the filling.
Bake in a 350 degree F oven on the top rack for 35 minutes.
Let it cool down on the stovetop and enjoy warm!



Crumble is traditionally served with ice cream, however this is already pretty sweet for me. But if you want some extra sweet goodness, go right ahead! My fave ice cream is So delicious salted caramel ice cream! 😋 I’ve had it with this apple crumble one time for a birthday celebration and it was mouth watering! 🤤
