Fly Tying a Silver Fox Nymph (AP Mayfly Pattern)

This easy to tie All Purpose mayfly nymph pattern uses silver fox tail hair for the tail and body. You can vary the colors of the thorax and wingcase to match several mayflies.

Hook: #12-18 nymph
Thread: Black
Tail: Silver fox tail
Rib: Silver wire
Body: Silver fox tail
Wingcase: Duck slip
Hackle: Black soft hackle
