The South Pole Founders Story

South Pole was formed 15 years ago, by a small group of idealistic entrepreneurs. Fighting climate change back in 2006 was an uphill battle - people could not see it, could not feel it, and didn’t believe it was real. Today, as South Pole celebrates its 15 year anniversary, the effects of climate change are clear all around us.

Today, we are over 500 people from 40 nationalities in 20 offices working tirelessly to bend the curve of emissions. We look forward to a stronger commitment to climate action by emitters large and small in the coming 15 years. This is our climate journey. Happy anniversary, South Pole!
