Samayik are of two types-
1. Dravya Samayik-samayik which we take by following the process, generally for a limit of 1hr, 2 hrs, etc.
2. Bhaav Samayik- samayik which is for 24 hrs with the divine feelings of detachment.

Samayik is like lifestyle of saint for a temporary period of time, which disconnects from worldly affairs and connects with the Soul.
