Meet Gracie - Another Sever's Disease Treatment Story

Gracie's mom shares her and Gracie's experience with Sever's disease. She watched her daughter go from being an active healthy kid to starting to walk on her tippy toes, to eventually having to get a wheelchair.

Gracie describes the pain as feeling like she was stepping on broken glass.

The first pediatrician they visited recommended heel gel cups and ibuprofen which they continued to use for a year and a half. When Gracie started the next school year and was in gym class, it was very difficult for her to participate and got to where she was only able to walk by tip toeing again.

Her condition continued to worsen and soon Gracie was crawling to get around. They met with her pediatrician again who this time recommended they see Dr. Jarman with Pediatric Foot & Ankle.
