This is the fourth in a series of four warm-up and practice sessions that Steven Mead gave on Facebook LIVE through his Steven Mead Euphonium Club Page on Saturday 18th April 2020. After the introductions and welcomes, Steve recaps the themes of the week, and reprises some exercises, and develops some new ones before we embark on the new topics of the day: Playing smoothly, how to achieve better legato. A brief explanation about vibrato, how to use it and control it. Some lip strengthening exercises, including lip bending and half valve glissandos. Chromatic scales, how to approach them, finger action and some variations. Results of the competition and some feedback. Competition is now closed please do not send any videos!
