The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:

“Do not despise daughters, for indeed they are precious companions.” (Ahmad)

This highlights the role of daughters as a source of love, support, and blessing in a family.

Islam teaches that both sons and daughters are gifts from Allah:

“To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He creates what He wills. He gives to whom He wills female [children], and He gives to whom He wills males.” (Qur’an, 42:49)
